Astros place Albers on DL

Houston, TX (SportsNetwork.com) – The Houston Astros placed pitcher Matt Albers on the 15-day disabled list with right shoulder tendinitis.

Albers has allowed just one earned run on 10 hits over 10 innings this season. The move is retroactive to April 22.

The Astros also recalled pitcher Jose Cisnero from Triple-A Oklahoma City. The right-hander went 2-2 with a 4.12 ERA in 28 relief appearances last season with Houston.
