Angels CF Bourjos leaves game with injury
Houston, TX (Sports Network) – Los Angeles Angels center fielder Peter Bourjos left Saturday’s game against the Houston Astros with a right wrist contusion.
Bourjos was hit by a Jordan Lyles pitch in the top of the fourth inning. He was taken out of the game and taken for X-rays on his right wrist.
The center fielder made his return to the lineup on Saturday after sitting the last five games with a bruised thumb. He also missed 40 games in May and June due to a left hamstring strain.
Bourjos has a .326 batting average with three home runs and 10 RBI in 40 games this season.
