49ers sign WR Harper

Santa Clara, CA (Sports Network) – The San Francisco 49ers announced that they have signed WR Chris Harper to a three-year deal.

Harper, a fourth round pick of the Seahawks this past April, was released by Seattle after training camp.

The 23-year old recorded 132 catches for 1,856 yards and 14 scores in 51 collegiate games for Oregon and Kansas State.
