Recap: Philadelphia vs. Orlando
Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - In a battle of futility, something had to give when the Philadelphia 76ers and Orlando Magic met at the Wells Fargo Center with both teams riding lengthy losing streaks.
Nikola Vucevic recorded his 26th double-double of the season with 21 points and 13 rebounds to help the Magic to a 101-90 win over the Sixers and snap their team-record tying 16-game road losing streak.
Victor Oladipo added a 17-point, 11-rebound double-double and Jameer Nelson contributed 16 points, 12 assists, and six rebounds in the win.
The Sixers, meanwhile, are mired in a 12-game losing streak overall and an 11- game skid on their home hardwood.
It's their longest home losing streak since a 12-game skid from Dec. 9, 1996- Jan. 24, 1997. Philadelphia also hasn't lost 12 straight contests overall since losing 12 in a row from Nov. 20-Dec. 11, 2009.
Thaddeus Young paced the Sixers with 19 points, while Tony Wroten and Eric Maynor chipped in with 15 and 13 points, respectively, off the bench.
