Los Angeles Lakers (9-22) at Denver Nuggets (13-18), 9 p.m. (ET)
(SportsNetwork.com) - The Los Angeles Lakers will pay a visit to the Denver Nuggets Tuesday at the Pepsi Center.
The Lakers have lost four in a row on the road and are coming off Sunday's 116-107 setback to the Phoenix Suns. Nick Young scored 21 points, Jeremy Lin added 19 and Kobe Bryant finished with 10 points, eight rebounds and seven assists.
Los Angeles shot 51.9 percent for the game, but had 17 turnovers.
"Just couldn't get a stop," said Lakers coach Byron Scott. "We were right there again, played hard for 48 minutes. But the last couple of minutes of the game, feels like we just lost it."
LA has lost three in a row and six of its last seven games. It is 5-11 away from home this season.
The Nuggets have lost three of their last four games and will close out a three-game homestand Tuesday.
In Sunday's 116-102 setback to the Toronto Raptors, Ty Lawson led the way with 28 points and seven assists. Wilson Chandler tallied 20 points and 10 rebounds and Kenneth Faried had a big night, scoring 17 points to go along with 19 boards.
"We had it. It was 95-94, then they went on a little spurt," said Lawson. "We have to be able to lock down and defend. That's the main thing we're not doing, that's why we're not winning games."
Denver has a 9-7 home record and defeated the Lakers, 101-94, on Nov. 23. Lawson totaled 18 points and 16 assists in that one, while Bryant scored a game-high 27 points.
The Nuggets have won seven straight against the Lakers.
