Viera, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Ian Desmond knocked in two runs and Washington used a three-run rally in the bottom of the seventh inning to overcome the Yankees by a 7-6 count in Grapefruit League play.

Jose Lobaton also drove in a pair, as did starter Doug Fister for the Nationals, who trailed 3-0 and 6-4 in the contest.

Craig Stammen picked up the win by tossing a scoreless top of the seventh. Fister gave up four runs on seven hits and fanned four over 4 1/3 innings.

Chris Young slugged a pair of homers and knocked in three for New York. Brian McCann contributed a two-run blast in defeat.

Kyle Davies was charged with three runs on as many hits over his two-inning relief stint.
