Viera, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Dan Uggla went 2-for-3 with a two-run homer to help a Washington Nationals split squad post a 4-2 Grapefruit League win over the Miami Marlins.

All four Washington runs came against Marlins starter Henderson Alvarez in the third inning, with Wilson Ramos driving in the first two with a single and Uggla making it 4-1 with a blast to right.

Jordan Zimmermann scattered eight hits but just one run while working the first five innings for the Nationals.

Alvarez allowed six hits overall over a five-inning stint. Adeiny Hechavarria, Reed Johnson and Reid Brignac each collected two hits for Miami.
