Recap: Texas vs. Los Angeles
Surprise, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Rangers right fielder Bryan Petersen stroked a two-run double in the ninth and then scored the game-tying run on Brad Snyder's sacrifice fly, as Texas and the Los Angeles Dodgers played to a 5-5 stalemate in spring training action on Saturday.
Jeremy Hazelbaker and J.C. Boscan each stroked an RBI single in the top of the ninth to give LA a 5-2 lead, but the Rangers rallied for three in the home half to tie the tilt.
Shin-Soo Choo and Jim Adduci each added an RBI for Texas, which saw starter Tanner Scheppers surrender one run on two hits and two walks over 2 2/3 innings.
Mike Baxter went 2-for-2 with two RBI for the Dodgers. Starter Paul Maholm struck out four while allowing just one run on three hits over three frames.
