Jimenez's second hit of the day snapped a 3-3 tie, with Taylor Jungmann helping to protect the lead with two scoreless innings.

Khris Davis had a two-run double for Milwaukee in the third inning, during which the Brewers scored three times on three hits off Tim Lincecum.

Matt Garza worked the first three innings for Milwaukee, surrendering a pair of runs on four hits and two walks.

Brandon Belt went 2-for-2 with a solo homer to pace the Giants offensively, with Casey McGehee also collecting two hits in the loss.
