(SportsNetwork.com) - Gerrit Cole returns from the disabled list and tries to win his fourth consecutive decision on Saturday when he leads the Pittsburgh Pirates against the New York Mets at PNC Park.

Cole, who has been on the DL since June 4 due to right shoulder fatigue, is 3-0 over his last four starts and hasn't lost since May 13 at Milwaukee. The righty lasted 5 2/3 frames in his June 3 outing at San Diego and earned the victory. He is 2-0 in five home starts this season and hasn't lost at PNC Park since Aug. 29 last year against Milwaukee. That's four consecutive home victories.

The only time Cole has faced the Mets in his career was July 14 last year in Pittsburgh when he suffered a 4-2 loss after yielding three runs in five innings.

Jonathon Niese snapped a five-game winless streak in his last start for the Mets. The lefty gave up six hits and three runs over six frames of an 11-5 win at Miami on Sunday. He has gone 19 consecutive starts allowing three earned runs or less, the longest active streak in the majors.

Niese is 2-1 with a 4.40 ERA in five career starts against the Pirates. That includes a 2-0 mark with a 1.42 ERA at PNC Park.

Josh Harrison's walk-off double in the 11th inning lifted the Pittsburgh Pirates to a 3-2 win last night. Clint Barmes drew a one-out walk off Vic Black (1-2) in the ninth and Harrison smacked a two-out, first-pitch fastball to the right-center field wall which allowed Barmes to come around from first to score without a throw.

"This is what I do when I play every day," said Harrison.

Jared Hughes (4-2) allowed just one hit in the two extra frames to earn the win.

Jordy Mercer drove in two runs for the Pirates, who have won six of their last seven contests.

Lucas Duda collected two RBI and Travis d'Arnaud had three hits for the Mets, losers of three straight.

The Pirates had a golden opportunity to end the came in the 10th inning but failed to do so. The frame started with runners on second and third. After a strikeout, Andrew McCutchen was intentionally walked to loaded the bases, and Mets closer Jenrry Mejia escaped with a strikeout and a flyout.

"Mejia did a great job there that inning," said Mets second baseman Daniel Murphy. "Any loss is going to be tough."

The Mets are expected to be without third baseman David Wright today and likely tomorrow. He traveled back to New York to undergo an MRI on his left shoulder.

The Mets took two of three from the Pirates at Citi Field May 26-28.
