Minneapolis, MN (SportsNetwork.com) - Brian Dozier's RBI single in the ninth inning sent the Minnesota Twins past the Chicago White Sox, 5-4, on Friday.

Twins closer Glen Perkins squandered a 4-2 lead in the top of the ninth, but Minnesota rallied in the bottom half as Eduardo Escobar slid in safely with the game-winning run, narrowly beating Dayan Viciedo's throw from left field.

Escobar added a two-run double earlier in the game, while Kurt Suzuki went 3- for-4 with a run scored and an RBI for the Twins, who had dropped five in a row before taking the first two meetings of this four-game set.
