Viera, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jhonatan Solano and Reed Johnson each hit RBI singles during the eighth inning as the Miami Marlins held off the Washington Nationals for a 5-4 spring training win on Wednesday.

Giancarlo Stanton finished 3-for-3 with two RBI and a run scored and Adeiny Hechavarria also drove in a run for the Marlins, who had starter Mat Latos surrender two runs on two hits with three strikeouts over four innings.

Clint Robinson and Matt Skole each homered for the Nationals in defeat.
