Jupiter, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Jarrod Saltalamacchia's solo home run in the second inning was all the Miami Marlins needed to dispatch the New York Mets, 1-0, in spring training action Friday.
Saltalamacchia went 2-for-3 and Brian Bogusevic supplied Miami's other hit. Tom Koehler allowed only three hits and struck out five batters in five innings of work.
Brian Burgamy had a hit and a stolen base for the Mets, while starter Zack Wheeler gave up one run on three hits with two strikeouts across 4 2/3 frames.
