Lakeland, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Rob Refsnyder's two-run homer capped a big first inning that carried the New York Yankees to an 11-2 Grapefruit League win over the Detroit Tigers.

The Yankees tagged Alfredo Simon for six first-inning runs on six hits, with Brendan Ryan and Jose Pirela each recording RBI doubles prior to Refsnyder's blast.

Jonathan Galvez tacked on a two-run triple later on for New York and Pirela also finished with a pair of RBI.

The Yankees also received five solid innings out of Adam Warren, with the rotation candidate yielding just a run on four hits.

Yoenis Cespedes went 2-for-2 with a solo homer for Detroit, while Rajai Davis finished 3-for-3 with a run scored in the loss.
