Baltimore, MD (Sports Network) - Adam Jones and J.J. Hardy each hit a three- run home run to help the Baltimore Orioles take an 8-5 win over the Toronto Blue Jays to open a three-game set.
Chris Davis hit his MLB-leading 35th homer of the year, a two-run shot in the second inning, to help the Orioles to their third straight win. Chris Tillman (11-3) pitched six innings to get the win as he gave up three runs on eight hits with a walk and five strikeouts.
J.P. Arencibia hit a two-run home run, Edwin Encarnacion added a solo shot and Adam Lind hit a two-run double for the Blue Jays, who have lost three of four. Mark Buehrle (5-6) gave up all eight runs on nine hits over six innings to take the loss.
