Recap: Baltimore vs. NY Yankees
Sarasota, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Chris Davis clubbed his third homer of the spring and Jonathan Schoop knocked in the go-ahead run with a sacrifice fly in the seventh inning, lifting the Baltimore Orioles to a 2-1 victory over the New York Yankees.
Davis' blast to center field came off Danny Burawa in the sixth and tied the game at 1-1. He also singled in the fourth.
Delmon Young added a pair of hits for Baltimore, including a double that led to the go-ahead run. Chris Tillman made the start for the Orioles and yielded a run on three hits with five strikeouts in five innings.
Vidal Nuno worked four scoreless innings for the Yankees, allowing one hit with a walk and three strikeouts. Brian Roberts singled twice for New York against his former team and Francisco Arcia gave the Yankees a 1-0 lead with a homer in the top of the sixth.
