Lake Buena Vista, FL (SportsNetwork.com) - Freddie Freeman hit a three-run homer in the third inning to lead the Atlanta Braves to a 3-2 win over the New York Mets on Tuesday in spring training.

Mallex Smith scored on Freeman's blast and had a game-high three hits for the Braves. Starter Julio Teheran went three innings, giving up one hit and one unearned run while striking out four and walking two.

John Mayberry Jr. and Travis d'Arnaud hit RBI singles for the Mets and Bartolo Colon went three innings, giving up five hits, including Freeman's homer.
