Scottsdale, AZ (SportsNetwork.com) - Andrew Romine singled home the eventual winning run in the ninth inning as the LA Angels of Anaheim took a 3-2 victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks in spring training action on Monday.

John Hester and J.B. Shuck each drove in a run for the Angels and starter Garrett Richards pitched three innings and gave up two hits and struck out two.

Nick Ahmed and Rudy Flores drove in a run each for the Diamondbacks in the bottom of the ninth. Brandon McCarthy gave up three hits and a walk with two strikeouts over five innings of work.
