Cincinnati, OH (SportsNetwork.com) - Trevon Bluiett and Matt Stainbrook posted 18 points each as the Xavier Musketeers coasted to a 93-60 decision over the Northern Arizona Lumberjacks in a season-opening non-conference tilt at the Cintas Center.

Stainbrook also pulled down a game-high nine rebounds for Xavier (1-0), which also received 16 points off the bench courtesy of Jalen Reynolds. Myles Davis added 13 points for the Musketeers.

Quinton Upshur paced NAU (0-1) with 20 points on 8-of-14 efficiency from the floor. Ako Kaluna chimed in with 10 points off the bench for the visitors.

Xavier knocked down 63.6 percent of its field goal tries and held the Lumberjacks to 9-of-32 shooting from the floor over the opening 20 minutes of the contest en route to a 48-22 halftime lead.

The Musketeers continued to dominate offensively after the break, connecting on 71.4 percent of their shots from the field and 12 of their 15 free-throw tries. Despite being outscored after the break, NAU hit on 6-of-9 attempts from beyond the arc in the second stanza.

Xavier outscored the visitors, 14-4, at the charity stripe and held a 36-29 edge in the rebounding battle.
