Wisconsin Badgers VS. Boise St. Broncos

Recap: Wisconsin vs. Boise State

Madison, WI (SportsNetwork.com) - Frank Kaminsky had 26 points and five rebounds to lead No. 3 Wisconsin to a 78-54 win over Boise State on Saturday.

Nigel Hayes scored 15 points with five rebounds and Traevon Jackson finished with 11 points, five assists and three boards for the Badgers (4-0), who were coming off an 84-60 win over Green Bay on Wednesday.

"Frank just keeps playing, keeps working at it every day. It's just an example of a guy being committed to what he's doing," Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan said of Kaminsky. "It's awfully nice to have a big that can make good decisions and that can help defensively. His all-around game just keeps getting better."

Derrick Marks supplied 16 points and three assists for the Broncos (3-1), who suffered their first loss of the season after a thrilling 72-67 double- overtime win over Montana on Tuesday.

"It's one of those things where there's a lot of things here and there: we missed a few lanes, have to try to keep that thing closed, we missed a few free throws, you can't do that against a great team, you have to play nearly perfect," Broncos head coach Leon Rice said.

Kaminsky drained two straight jumpers to stake the Badgers to a 22-11 lead with 8:18 to play in the first half. Mikey Thompson, however, answered back with a 3-pointer and the Broncos used a 7-0 run to pull within four over three minutes later.

Duje Dukan's trey with under a minute to play made it a 14-point game for the Badgers, who used a scorching 62.5 shooting percentage to take a 38-24 lead into half.

Jackson supplied seven points in a 9-0 run to put Wisconsin up 58-35 with 10:35 remaining and the Badgers held their cushion, which increased to 27 points down the stretch.
