Wichita, KS (SportsNetwork.com) - Ron Baker had a game-high 18 points as No. 11 Wichita State dismantled Newman, 105-57, on Sunday.

Baker made 6-of-9 shots, including 4-of-6 from 3-point range, Darius Carter scored 15 points and Fred VanVleet chipped in 12 for the Shockers (3-0), who won their national-best 34th consecutive regular-season game.

Reggie Baker paced Newman with 14 points and Cortrael Colbert finished with 12 points and four rebounds in defeat.

The Jets, who won their first two games, won't have the loss count against the their record since they counted it as an exhibition matchup.

Baker and Ria'n Holland bookended a 10-2 run with 3-pointers to give the Shockers a 46-26 lead with 6:09 to play in the first half.

Zach Brown's trey highlighted a 10-0 run as Wichita State cruised into halftime with a 67-33 advantage thanks to a scorching 61.1 shooting percentage.

The Shockers picked up right where they left off with five straight points coming out of the break as Carter's dunk made it 72-33 score 37 seconds into the second half.

Wichita State led by as many as 51 points down the stretch.
