Rochester, MI (SportsNetwork.com) - Torrion Brummitt scored 14 points to lead four Western Carolina players in double figures as the Catamounts topped the Chicago State Cougars 66-61 in the CBE Hall of Fame Classic on Wednesday.

Mike Brown had 13 points, Justin Browning supplied 12 and Rhett Harrelson added 11 with six assists for the Catamounts (3-3), who won two of their three regional round games this week at Oakland University.

Western Carolina shot 51.2 percent from the floor, but missed 12 of its 31 free throw attempts.

Trayvon Palmer paced Chicago State (2-5) with 13 points. Clarke Rosenberg contributed 10 points, while Jared Dimakos and Johnny Griffin both scored nine.

The Cougars finished 0-3 at this tournament.
