Recap: Utah vs. North Dakota

Salt Lake City, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Jakob Poeltl tallied 24 points, 12 rebounds and five blocks, as the Utah Utes made easy work of North Dakota, 90-53, as part of the University of Utah Tournament at the Jon M. Huntsman Center.

Poeltl was a perfect 10-of-10 from the field for Utah (4-1). Delon Wright added 23 points and five assists and Brandon Taylor netted 14.

For North Dakota (2-3), Terrel de Rouen and Lenny Antwi scored 12 and 10, respectively.

Utah shot a scorching 13-of-18 from the field in the first half and carried a 37-26 lead into intermission. North Dakota made just 33.3 percent of its tries from the floor but kept within striking distance by attempting 12 more shots than the Utes.

The Utes continued their hot shooting after the break (63 percent) as they pulled away for the convincing 37-point win.

In addition to making two-thirds of its field goal tries (30-of-45), Utah also had a solid night at the foul line (24-of-34).
