Salt Lake City, UT (SportsNetwork.com) - Delon Wright scored 24 points to power the Utah Utes to a commanding 93-62 win over the Alabama State Hornets during the University of Utah Tournament at the Huntsman Center.

Wright also had seven rebounds and six assists for Utah (5-1). Kenneth Ogbe added 19 points, Dakarai Tucker had 12, Jakob Poeltl chipped in 11 and Dallin Bachynski contributed 10.

Jamel Waters netted 19 points for Alabama State (2-3).

Utah entered halftime with a 49-33 lead. The Utes made 53.3 percent of their field goal attempts in the first half, including 5-of-11 from 3-point range. Alabama State had five triples in the period as well, but only shot 46.2 percent overall.

The Utes continued to pile on in the second half when they shot 53.3 percent from the floor, while limiting the Hornets to seven field goals.

Utah held massive scoring advantages in the paint (40-16) and off of turnovers (30-5).
