Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Norman Powell netted 22 points on 9- of-17 shooting as the UCLA Bruins easily took down the USC Trojans, 83-66, in a Pac-12 Conference clash at the Galen Center.

Bryce Alford chipped in with 21 points, and hit 5-of-8 from 3-point range for UCLA (11-7, 3-2 Pac-12), which has won three straight. Tony Parker added in 14 points with seven rebounds, and Kevon Looney tallied a double-double of 12 points and 10 boards in the win.

Nikola Jovanovic collected 20 points and five rebounds to pace USC (9-8, 1-4). Darion Clark contributed 11 points, and both Katin Reinhardt and Malik Marquetti added 10 points in the loss, which was the fourth in the Trojans' last five games.

UCLA made an even 50 percent of its first-half field goal tries, which allowed the Bruins to take a 36-31 lead into the intermission. USC connected on just 37.9 percent shooting in the frame.

The Bruins boosted their accuracy to 62.5 percent in the second half, which included a 3-of-4 mark from 3-point range. The Trojans increased their shooting percentage to 44.8 in the period, but they continued to fall behind to the visitors.

UCLA held a 46-30 advantage in scoring in the paint, and dominated the Trojans in rebounding, 41-20, in the win.
