Los Angeles, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Led by Katin Reinhardt's 19 points, the USC Trojans held off the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles, 70-58, in a non- conference matchup at the Galen Center.

Jordan McLaughlin pitched in with 15 points for USC (1-1), while Julian Jacobs had nine points and six rebounds.

Dwan Caldwell scored 19 points to pace TTU (1-1), while Charles Jackson tallied a double-double with 12 points and 10 rebounds.

USC opened up a double-digit lead less than four minutes into the game, but TTU slowly chipped away at its deficit and went into halftime trailing by just five, 29-24.

The Golden Eagles continued to hang around in the second half, as USC held just a four-point lead with under six minutes to go, but the Trojans pulled away thanks to an 11-2 run.

USC led the game wire-to-wire and shot 44.7 percent from the field.
