New Orleans, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Majok Deng registered a double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds as the third-seeded ULM Warhawks downed the sixth-seeded South Alabama Jaguars, 77-59, in the quarterfinals of the Sun Belt Conference Tournament at Lakefront Arena.

Taylor Ongwae finished with a team-high 17 points for ULM (20-11), which will advance to take on the second-seed Georgia State in the semifinals. Nick Coppola netted 12 points, while DeMondre Harvey recorded a double-double of his own with 11 points and 10 boards.

Dionte Ferguson led the Jaguars (13-19) with 16 points and Ken Williams scored 13 points.

The Warhawks took a 36-26 lead into halftime thanks to an exceptional display from beyond the arc. Although ULM connected on only 35.9 percent of its overall shots from the floor, it sank 7-of-15 tries from 3-point range in the first half while limiting the Jaguars to a 2-of-7 clip from behind the 3-point line.

USA could not make up any ground after the break as it was limited to 34.4 percent efficiency from the field.

ULM dominated the interior en route to the 18-point decision, finishing with a 36-28 edge in points in the paint along with a 48-36 advantage in total rebounds.
