College Station, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Alex Caruso logged 23 points, six assists, six rebounds and six steals as the Texas A&M Aggies pulled off a second-half comeback to beat the Arizona State Sun Devils, 72-71, in non- conference play at Reed Arena.

Caruso shot 9-of-11 from the field for the Aggies (6-1), who are on a five- game unbeaten streak. Jordan Green and Jalen Jones each tallied 13 points in the gritty effort.

Tra Holder netted 14 points, including 7-of-7 at the free-throw line, for the Sun Devils (5-3), who fell after back-to-back wins in their previous two games. Jonathan Gilling and Bo Barnes both added 12 points.

In the first half, the Sun Devils were red hot from the floor, shooting 64 percent, while the Aggies shot 48.3 percent. The visitors led 45-34 at halftime.

The home team improved in the second half, shooting 54.2 percent from the field, including 5-of-6 from the perimeter, while the Sun Devils dipped to 40.9 percent shooting. With 6:04 left, a 3-pointer by Alex Robinson gave the Aggies their first lead of the half, having erased a 13-point deficit. Though the lead changed hands several more times before the end of the game, Kourtney Roberson was able to hit 1-of-2 at the line with five seconds left, enough for his team to snag the win by just one point.

Texas A&M outscored the opposition, 36-20, in the paint, and 22-16 in points off turnovers.
