Cookeville, TN (SportsNetwork.com) - Torrance Rowe netted 18 points on 6-of-11 shooting as the Tennessee Tech Golden Eagles squeaked past the Chattanooga Mocs, 69-67, in non-conference action at Eblen Center.

Charles Jackson contributed a double-double with 15 points and 11 rebounds for Tennessee Tech (2-1), while Dwan Caldwell grabbed seven boards with four steals in the win.

Greg Pryor scored 12 points on 5-of-6 shooting to lead Chattanooga (1-3). Tre' McLean came off the bench to score 11 points with six rebounds in the loss.

Chattanooga went into the intermission after the first half with a commanding 43-26 advantage after shooting 51.6 percent in the first frame. Tennessee Tech hit on just 35 percent of its field goal attempts in the period.

The tides turned in the second half, as the Golden Eagles netted 50 percent of their shots while the Mocs hit 42.1 percent with an 0-of-1 mark from 3-point distance in the two-point loss.

Tennessee Tech had the edge in rebounding, 38-27, and held a slight advantage at the free-throw line, 18-14.
