Philadelphia, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Jesse Morgan netted 19 points as the Temple Owls coasted to a 73-48 decision over the South Florida Bulls in an American Athletic Conference matchup at the Liacouras Center.

Quenton DeCosey added 14 points for the Owls (13-7, 4-3 AAC), who had lost their previous three games. Will Cummings chipped in 12 points, while Jaylen Bond grabbed seven boards.

Corey Allen, Jr. paced USF (7-12, 1-5) with 12 points, but also committed five of the team's 15 turnovers. Ruben Guerrero contributed 10 points for the Bulls as they were handed their fourth consecutive loss.

Temple took a 39-20 lead into the intermission after it connected on 8-of-14 tries from 3-point range in the opening stanza. The Bulls were limited to 31 percent efficiency from the floor, including a 2-of-8 clip from beyond the arc in the first half.

Although the Owls shot just 38.7 percent from the field after the break, they stepped up their play on the defensive end to keep the Bulls at bay. USF hit on only 8-of-27 field goal tries and converted just 11-of-21 shots at the free-throw line over the final 20 minutes of the contest.

Temple finished with a 48-40 advantage in total rebounds.
