Jersey City, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - A Travis Wyche free throw with under 10 seconds remaining provided the Saint Peter's Peacocks with just enough to come away with a 58-57 win over the Marist Red Foxes in Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference action at the Yanitelli Center.

Wyche finished the meeting with seven points and five assists for the Peacocks (10-16, 6-12 MAAC) as they snapped a two-game slide. Marvin Dominique stepped up with a game-high 23 points and nine rebounds, followed by Desi Washington with 18 points and seven boards in the close call.

Marist (11-16, 8-9) was paced by Khallid Hart with 15 points, while Jay Bowie logged a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards as the team had a two-game win streak come to an end. Chavaughn Lewis and Adam Kemp accounted for 11 points apiece in the losing cause.

Shooting just 9-of-29 (.310) from the floor in the first half, Marist fell behind at the break by a 30-24 score.

In the second half the Red Foxes responded with 54.5 percent accuracy from the field, but at the same time converted only 5-of-12 at the charity stripe, eventually costing them the game.

The Peacocks finished the outing 9-of-19 beyond the arc and won the rebounding battle, 38-26.
