Moraga, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Derrick Marks scored 22 points, leading four players in double figures, as the Boise State Broncos defeated the Gaels of Saint Mary's, 82-71, in a non-conference bout at McKeon Pavilion.

Marks, who shot 10-of-14 from the floor, added seven rebounds, four assists and four steals for the Broncos (5-2) as they won for the second time in the last three outings. Mikey Thompson added 14 points, Anthony Drmic 12 and James Webb II 10 points and seven rebounds off the bench.

The Gaels (5-1) were paced by Brad Waldow with a game-high 29 points and 11 rebounds, followed by Aaron Bright and Emmett Naar with 12 and 11 points, respectively.

Boise State shot a sizzling 66.7 percent from the floor in the first half, but the visitors led by just two points at the break, 41-39, after SMC converted 7-of-13 beyond the arc.

In the second half the Gaels came up empty on all 11 chances behind the 3- point line and shot only 34.3 percent from the floor, making it that much easier for the Broncos to pull away for the victory.

Boise State, which collected a mere three offensive rebounds, finished the night connecting on an impressive 58.8 percent from the floor.
