Sioux Falls, SD (SportsNetwork.com) - Deondre Parks scored a game-high 21 points as the South Dakota State Jackrabbits dismissed the South Dakota Coyotes, 78-65, in the semifinals of the Summit League Tournament at the Denny Sanford Premier Center.

Also scoring in double figures for the top-seeded Jackrabbits (23-9) was George Marshall who pitched in with 14 points and eight rebounds, while Jake Bittle tallied nine points before fouling out.

The Jackrabbits are now into the tournament's title game on Tuesday night and will face North Dakota State for the right to represent the Summit League in the NCAA Tournament.

The fifth-seeded Coyotes (17-16) were led by Tyler Larson who registered a double-double consisting of 19 points and a game-high 10 rebounds, while Trey Norris and Brandon Bos dropped in 15 and 12 points, respectively.

SDSU, which ran out to a 15-5 advantage just over seven minutes into the meeting, shot an impressive 54.2 percent from the floor in the first half, including a sizzling 8-of-13 (.615) behind the 3-point line, en route to a 44-25 advantage at the break.

After hitting on only 26.7 percent from the floor and 1-of-9 beyond the arc through the first 20 minutes of action, the Coyotes moved to 50.0 percent accuracy from the field, but it was too little, too late as the Jacks cruised to the double-digit victory.

South Dakota State, which survived 15 turnovers, held the opposition to only 4-of-19 shooting on the perimeter.
