Dallas, TX (SportsNetwork.com) - Keith Frazier tallied a double-double of 16 points and 10 rebounds to help lead his SMU Mustangs past the Illinois-Chicago Flames, 67-46, in a non-conference battle at Moody Coliseum.

Nic Moore also contributed 16 points in the win for SMU (7-3), which was the fifth in a row for the Mustangs. Yanick Moreira chipped in with 11 points and eight rebounds in the victory.

Marc Brown netted 15 points to pace UIC (3-9), which has dropped two in a row and five of its last six altogether.

SMU took an easy 29-15 lead into halftime after the home squad made 45 percent of its shots from the floor in the first frame, adding in 10-of-16 from the free-throw line. UIC hit on just 18.8 percent from the field in the first, making 3-of-12 from 3-point range.

The Mustangs boosted their accuracy to 61.9 percent in the second period, also making 10-of-13 from the charity stripe. The Flames connected on 34.4 percent shooting, and still continued to fall behind.

SMU had scoring advantages in points in the paint (28-14), fast-break points (11-0), from the free-throw line (20-5), and from bench contribution (14-12).
