San Francisco, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Kruize Pinkins scored 26 points on 9- of-11 shooting to lead his San Francisco Dons to a 76-57 victory over the Montana Grizzlies in a non-conference bout at War Memorial Gymnasium.

Tim Derksen tallied 17 points with six rebounds for San Francisco (4-2), and Mark Tollefsen added another 15 points in the win for the Dons.

Martin Breunig scored a team-high 14 points and grabbed eight rebounds for Montana (2-3), while Jermaine Edmonds came off the bench to score 13 points in the loss.

San Francisco took a commanding 34-16 lead at halftime thanks to 66.7 percent shooting from the floor and a strong defensive effort that held Montana to 23.1 percent shooting in the half.

The Dons didn't let up in the second frame, either. The team netted 62.5 percent of its field goal tries, and made 21-of-27 from the free-throw line. The Grizzlies increased their shooting accuracy to 41.2 percent, and went 8- of-20 from 3-point distance. They couldn't make up any of the deficit, though.

San Francisco held a decisive 40-18 advantage in points in the paint, and outscored Montana from the free-throw line, 25-7.
