St Louis, MO (SportsNetwork.com) - Riley LaChance scored a game-high 19 points and pulled down seven rebounds as the Vanderbilt Commodores captured a 70-55 win over the Saint Louis Billikens in non-conference action at Chaifetz Arena.

Also scoring in double figures for the Commodores (9-3), as they won for the fourth time in the last five outings, was Damian Jones with 15 points, although he was also charged with five turnovers without the benefit of a single assist.

Saint Louis (8-5) was led by Austin McBroom and Ash Yacoubou who both tallied 15 points, while Milik Yarbrough accounted for 13 points as the Billikens had a three-game win streak come to an end.

The hosts managed to built a four-point advantage in the first couple of minutes of the meeting, but that was before Vandy connected on 59.1 percent from the floor in order to grab a 33-26 lead at the break.

After making 42.3 percent of their field goal tries through the first 20 minutes, the Billikens dropped to 31.0 percent, allowing the Commodores to secure the comfortable win.

Vanderbilt owned a 39-26 rebounding advantage and outscored the Billikens in the paint by a 32-18 margin.
