Sacramento, CA (SportsNetwork.com) - Mikh McKinney tallied 29 points, 11 rebounds and six assists, as the Sacramento State Hornets made easy work of the Northern Colorado Bears, 79-58, in Big Sky Conference action at The Nest.

McKinney shot 8-of-18 from the field and knocked down 11-of-12 from the free- throw line for Sacramento State (13-12, 9-7 Big Sky), which has won three straight. Eric Stuteville also registered a double-double for the hosts, putting up 14 points and 12 rebounds off the bench.

UNC (16-9, 10-6), which had won three straight coming in, Jordan Wilson was the lone player in double figures with 17 points.

Sacramento State ran out to a 37-26 lead at intermission after shooting 52 percent from the field in the first half and holding UNC to only 35.7 percent shooting.

The Hornets' advantage was never in doubt after halftime, as their lead swelled to as many as 25 points down the stretch.

Sacramento State owned a 45-34 advantage on the glass and outscored UNC at the foul line, 24-17.
