Lawrenceville, NJ (SportsNetwork.com) - Teddy Okereafor netted 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead his Rider Broncs over the Siena Saints, 80-68, in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference battle at Alumni Gym.

Anthony D'Orazio chipped in with 12 points, six rebounds and five assists for Rider (4-5, 1-0 MAAC), while Zedric Sadler netted 11 points in the win.

Lavon Long scored a team-best 16 points before fouling out for Siena (3-4, 1-1). Patrick Cole contributed 15 points, and Rob Poole added 12 in the defeat.

Rider connected on 48.1 percent of its shots in the first half and held a 34-30 lead over Siena at the intermission. The Saints hit on 47.8 percent of their attempts from the floor, and went 2-of-8 from 3-point distance.

The Broncs made 48.4 percent of their tries in the second half, and buried 13- of-18 from the free-throw line to take a commanding lead. Siena shot 44.4 percent from the floor in the period, but continued to fall behind to the home squad.

Rider held a 39-25 advantage in rebounding, and managed to overcome 21 turnovers for the double-digit win.
