Providence, RI (SportsNetwork.com) - LaDontae Henton led all scorers with 27 points, and the Providence Friars cruised to an 85-65 win over the Massachusetts Minutemen in non-league play at the Dunkin' Donuts Center.

Kris Dunn chipped in with 16 points to go along with a game-high 11 assists and five steals for the Friars (9-3), who notched their third straight win following a three-game slide. Tyler Harris added 12 points and three steals off the bench, while Carson Desrosiers finished with 10 points, nine rebounds and a pair of blocks.

Maxie Esho led the way for the Minutemen (6-5) with 17 points. Reserves Donte Clark and Zach Coleman joined him in double figures with 14 and 10 points, respectively.

Providence claimed a 37-24 halftime lead after holding UMass to 9-of-27 (.333) shooting from the floor in the first half. The Friars closed out the period with a 13-4 run.

Dunn keyed a 12-0 Friars spurt midway through the second stanza that pushed the margin to 32.

Providence committed only nine turnovers and forced 18 for the game. The Friars also dominated the boards, 42-32.
