Providence, RI (SportsNetwork.com) - Leland King paced five teammates in double figures with 16 points, as the Brown Bears pulled off an impressive road victory over the Providence Friars, 77-67, in a non-conference affair at Dunkin' Donuts Center.

Steven Spieth and Cedric Kuakumensah both scored 15 points and combined for 13 rebounds for Brown (5-6), which has won four of five. J.R. Hobbie netted 13 points off the bench, while Tavon Blackmon tallied 11 points and seven assists.

Kris Dunn and LaDontae Henton both scored 16 points for Providence (6-3), which has lost three in a row on the heels of a 6-0 start. Dunn added eight assists and six rebounds, and Tyler Harris poured in 13 points.

An evenly matched first half saw both teams shoot just 11-of-28 from the field (.393), and the score was tied at 30 heading into the break.

The contest remained tight well into the second stanza. Brown snapped a 44-44 tie midway through the frame with a Kuakumensah 3-pointer, and it pulled away late with a 7-0 run.

Brown shot 10-of-23 from 3-point range, while Providence was just 4-of-19 from beyond the arc.
