Ruston, LA (SportsNetwork.com) - Angelo Warner and Brent Arrington scored 18 points apiece, as the Morehead State Eagles made easy work of the Presbyterian Blue Hose, 69-49, as part of the Coaches vs. Cancer Classic at the Thomas Assembly Center.

Warner and Arrington combined to shoot 6-of-9 from 3-point range for Morehead State (2-3). Karam Mashour added 10 points to the winning effort.

For Presbyterian (1-3), Jordan Downing tallied a double-double with 13 points and 10 rebounds, but no one else finished in double figures.

Although Morehead State shot just 34.5 percent from the field in the first half, compared to 42.9 percent for Presbyterian, it carried a 29-25 lead into halftime by attempting eight more field goals than the Blue Hose.

The Eagles improved to 45.2 percent shooting in the second half, including 7- of-13 from beyond the arc, as they pulled away for the 20-point win.

Presbyterian was plagued by a game-high 24 turnovers, which Morehead State turned into 22 points.
