Maui, HI (SportsNetwork.com) - James Robinson scored 14 points as the Pittsburgh Panthers muscled past the Kansas State Wildcats, 70-47, as part of the EA Sports Maui Invitational at Lahaina Civic Center.

Michael Young and Ryan Luther each had 13 points for Pittsburgh (4-2), while Jamel Artis chipped in 10.

Thomas Gipson netted 13 points for Kansas State (3-3).

Pittsburgh led by a 30-27 margin at halftime. The Panthers made 45.8 percent of their field goal tries in the first period. Kansas State made 39.1 percent of its own.

In the second half, Pittsburgh pulled away by shooting 65.2 percent from the field, while the Wildcats managed a total of six field goals.

Pittsburgh scored 17 points off of turnovers and had a 34-22 scoring edge in the paint.
