Pittsburgh, PA (SportsNetwork.com) - Michael Young tallied a double-double of 16 points and 12 rebounds as the Pittsburgh Panthers outlasted the Florida State Seminoles, 73-64, in an Atlantic Coast Conference tilt at Petersen Events Center.

Chris Jones netted 15 points with six boards for Pittsburgh (12-5, 2-2 ACC), which has won two of its last three. Jamel Artis added 13 points, and Cameron Wright chipped in 10 with seven rebounds in the victory.

Phil Cofer scored a game-high 21 points, and added 11 rebounds for the double- double for Florida State (9-8, 1-3). Devon Bookert contributed 13 points, and Montay Brandon added in 12 in the loss, which was the third in the team's last four outings.

Pittsburgh connected on 42.3 percent of its first-half field goal tries, and made 8-of-10 from the free-throw line to take a slim 33-32 lead into the intermission. Florida State made 55 percent of its shots in the frame.

The Seminoles dipped down to 32.3 percent shooting in the second half, while the Panthers hit on 44.8 percent, and added 14-of-22 from the charity stripe to add to their lead for the win.

Pittsburgh held a 32-26 advantage in scoring in the paint, and owned the edge in scoring at the free-throw line, 22-18.
