Corvallis, OR (SportsNetwork.com) - Angus Brandt scored 16 points to lead the Oregon State Beavers to a 68-57 win over the Washington State Cougars in Pac-12 Conference action at Gill Coliseum.

Devon Collier added 14 points for OSU (14-11, 6-7 Pac-12). Roberto Nelson tallied 12 points and seven assists as the Beavers snapped a three-game losing streak.

DaVonte Lacy paced the Cougars (9-17, 2-12) with 18 points on 4-of-12 shooting from the floor. D.J. Shelton recorded a double-double with 10 points and 11 boards.

OSU took a 30-26 lead into the intermission after it shot 38.5 percent from the floor in the opening period. WSU trailed at the break despite hitting on 42.9 percent of its field goal tries in the first half.

The Beavers knocked down 45.5 percent of their attempts from the field and converted 17-of-24 tries at the free-throw line in the second stanza. The Cougars could not keep up despite connecting on 4-of-11 shots from beyond the arc after the break.

OSU outscored the visitors, 32-16, in the paint and converted the Cougars' 15 turnovers into 15 points. WSU has now lost five games in a row.
