Las Vegas, NV (SportsNetwork.com) - Le'Bryan Nash scored 21 points on 8-of-14 shooting to lead his Oklahoma State Cowboys over the Tulsa Golden Hurricane, 73-58, in the championship contest of the 2014 MGM Grand Main Event at MGM Grand Garden Arena.

Anthony Hickey and Phil Forte each contributed 14 points for Oklahoma State (6-0), while Tavarius Shine chipped in with 10 points in the win.

Shaquille Harrison netted 17 points to pace Tulsa (3-2) in the loss. James Woodard added 13 points with seven rebounds, and Rashad Ray poured in 12 points.

Oklahoma State's offense was ablaze in the first half, shooting 65.4 percent from the floor which led to a 45-30 halftime advantage. Tulsa's offense was relatively quiet, connecting on 35.7 percent of its field goal tries.

The Cowboys cooled off in the second frame, hitting 38.5 percent of their attempts and going 1-of-9 from 3-point range. But the Golden Hurricane couldn't take advantage of the weaker OSU offense, making just 33.3 percent of their shots in the half.

Oklahoma State held a 28-18 advantage in points in the paint, and forced 13 Tulsa turnovers that resulted directly in 13 points for the Cowboys.
