Oklahoma St. Cowboys VS. Kansas Jayhawks

Recap: Oklahoma State vs. Kansas

Stillwater, OK (SportsNetwork.com) - Marcus Smart scored 20 of his 21 points in the second half, including two key baskets in the final minute as Oklahoma State upset No. 5 Kansas 72-65 on Saturday night.

The Cowboys (19-10, 7-9 Big 12) are 3-0 since Smart returned from a three-game suspension, having lost the previous seven in a row.

They bolstered their NCAA tournament chances with Saturday's win, ending the game with a 30-13 run in the last 10 minutes.

After Andrew Wiggins' pull-up jumper tie the score at 64-64 with two minutes left, Kansas scored only one more point. Kamari Murphy muscled in for a tough bucket at the other to give Oklahoma State the lead for good.

Wiggins then missed a layup after getting a long offensive rebound and, after a timeout, Smart split the defense through the lane for a physical layin to make it 68-64 with 46 seconds left.

Oklahoma State beat the press after a Kansas free throw and Smart took it to the basket again for a five-point lead with 23.8 seconds left. After Wiggins missed a 3 at the other end, Markel Brown cinched the win for Oklahoma State with two free throws for the last of his 19 points.

Wiggins had 15 points to lead the Jayhawks (22-7, 13-3), who had a four-game winning streak snapped.
