Riviera Maya, Mexico (SportsNetwork.com) - Seth Tuttle knocked down 19 points to lead the Northern Iowa Panthers over the Northwestern Wildcats, 61-42, in the championship game of the Cancun Challenge at Hard Rock Hotel Riviera Maya.

Tuttle shot 7-of-11 from the field for the Panthers (6-0), who are still undefeated this season. Nate Buss tallied 11 points in the win.

Bryant McIntosh scored 13 points for the Wildcats (5-1), who lost their first game of the season. None of the team's other players scored in double figures in a weak offensive performance.

The Panthers got to work right away, shooting 56 percent from the field in the first half. Meanwhile, the Wildcats struggled at 30.8 percent, trailing 31-20 at the end of the half.

In the second half, the Wildcats were a little worse, knocking down just 29.6 percent of their shots from the floor. The Panthers' 38.1 percent from the floor and 12-of-17 from the free-throw line helped them run away with the win. They led by as many as 22 points with 1:49 left.

Points in the paint were a major factor in Northern Iowa's victory, as the Panthers outscored their opponent there, 34-12. UNI also had a 14-5 points off turnovers advantage.
