Uncasville, CT (SportsNetwork.com) - Scott Eatherton scored 19 points and pulled down eight rebounds as the Northeastern Huskies coasted past the Navy Midshipmen, 68-44, in a non-conference battle as part of the Naismith Hall of Fame Tip-Off at Mohegan Sun Arena.

T.J. Williams chipped in 11 points, and Zach Stahl grabbed eight rebounds for Northeastern (3-0), which moves on to face Manhattan in the continuation of the tournament Sunday.

Brandon Venturini scored nine points to lead Navy (0-4), which will face Binghamton in Sunday's consolation game. Will Kelly added eight points in the defeat.

Navy connected on 45.5 percent of its shot attempts in the first half, and made 3-of-6 from 3-point range, but still trailed Northeastern at the half, 30-23. The Huskies shot 38.5 percent in the opening period.

It was Northeastern that exploded offensively in the second half, connecting on 54.5 percent of its shot attempts including 5-of-9 from beyond the arc. The Midshipmen hit 45 percent of their field goal attempts in the frame, but went just 1-of-6 from distance.

Northeastern held an 11-2 edge in second-chance points after winning the battle on the glass, 38-16.
