Cancun, MX (SportsNetwork.com) - Vic Law and Alex Olah each scored 13 points to lead the Northwestern Wildcats to a 55-46 victory over the Miami-Ohio RedHawks in the semifinals of the Cancun Challenge.

Tre Demps came off the bench to score 11 points for Northwestern (5-0), which will play Northern Iowa in the championship game.

For Miami (2-2), Eric Washington was the only player in double figures with 12 points.

Despite getting outshot from the field in the first half, 44.4 percent to 37.9 percent, Northwestern carried a 31-25 lead into intermission by attempting 11 more field goals than Miami.

The Wildcats held a double-digit lead early in the second stanza but the RedHawks clawed all the way back to tie the game at 40 with 6:12 remaining. Northwestern responded with a 9-0 run to put the game away.

Northwestern made 9-of-22 from 3-point range and won the rebounding battle, 37-29.
