Charleston, SC (SportsNetwork.com) - Angel Rodriguez flirted with a triple- double as the Miami-Florida Hurricanes beat the Akron Zips 79-51 in the semifinals of the Charleston Classic.

Rodriguez finished with 15 points on 6-of-9 shooting, nine assists and eight rebounds.

Sheldon McClellan totaled 17 points, six boards and three steals for Miami (4-0), which will play either Charlotte or South Carolina in Sunday's championship game. Manu Lecomte contributed 14 points and Tonye Jekiri grabbed 16 rebounds in Friday's win.

The Hurricanes were up only 35-30 at halftime before pulling away with a strong second half. They held the Zips to 26.9 percent shooting and led by as many as 29.

Pat Forsythe and Jake Kretzer each scored 11 points for Akron (2-1).
